I started college to study accounting but quickly realized I didn't want to do that for the rest of my life. (No offense to accountants.) I shifted gears by turning to my artistic side and become a graphic artist. Life followed in the form of love, marriage, raising two boys, running my own business, lots of cold mornings on the soccer field (coaching), crafting the illusion of a mostly clean house, and the never-ending search for that one missing sock. I kept the vein on the side of my head intact by reading, which eventually unleashed my imagination to write.
When I'm not writing, which is rare, my creativity spills into painting, putting together stained glass, or talking my wonderful and supportive husband into some insane project. (Most recently a bottle wall on the patio.) Although, my two sons will always be my best work. My husband and I have made our home in Maryland with a lazy bulldog named Hazel and an Australian Cattle dog named Roxie. The sock is still missing.
